Orange Hibiscus in Bloom
I used the flowers from a Hibiscus Bush in my best friend's garden in the Limpopo area of South Africa. The surrounding bush in that area of South Africa is very lush and thick due to the semi equatorial weather. The flowers seemed to me to have captured the sunshine and heat of the area and I just couldn't resist grabbing for my colors. These flowers are most likely to make their mark on lawns and where the grass is a bit shorter than on the side of the roads. Should you happen to come across a patch where they don’t have to compete for space, the sight is amazing with their beautiful pink colour. The plant’s leaves are rather small and you can see they tried very hard to copy the leaves of a clover-plant. Sadly for them they did not succeed as they forgot to “paint” the lighter flecks in the mid section of the leaves green as well. I am including two extra photos purely for some extra beauty ….enjoy!
